The flow table size of openflow switch is not sufficient to handle carrier-level traffic. Also interoperability between commercial SDN controller and major manufacturer switches must be ensured.

 

 

 

 

 

3. NFV/SDN for 5G 

Improvement in terms of function, performance and cost competitiveness is essential for NFV/SDN to become a core technology for 5G infrastructure implementation.
