Daliworks (www.daliworks.net), a Korean IoT platform service company, today announced that it is integrating its Thing+ Cloud platform onto the QCA4002 Wi-Fi® solution and development platforms from Qualcomm Atheros, Inc., creating added value for devices that use Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet of Things (IoT).
The Thing+ Cloud platform is a seamless and scalable cloud system that enables customers to create IoT services easily and quickly, providing real-time status, rule-based alerts, graph analysis, and reports for devices by the pre-integrated device middleware and full scale web applications.
Qualcomm Atheros’ QCA4002 is a low-power, Wi-Fi System on Chip (SoC) that is designed to enable customers to add Wi-Fi to virtually any product with minimal development effort or cost. Target applications for the QCA4002 platform include major home appliances (such as washing machines, air conditioners, hot water heaters, and so on), consumer electronics, and sensors and smart plugs for home lighting, security and automation systems.
“Integrating Thing+ Cloud with Qualcomm Atheros’ intelligent connectivity solutions, expands Daliworks’ business opportunities with global device manufacturers,” said Dr. Soonho Lee, CEO of Daliworks. ”Additionally, IoT devices that leverage the QCA4002 Wi-Fi solution and our Thing+ Cloud platform will enable us to provide differentiated services.”
